Hi! I’m currently a third year PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Qi Ryan Wang. Previously, I completed my undergrad in Computer Science and Mathematics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked with Prof. Jianxi Gao.

My research focuses on multimodal machine learning and large-scale spatiotemporal data modeling. I study representation learning methods that enable machine learning systems to understand complex data from multiple modalities and dynamic real-world systems. If you have any questions or interested in my work, feel free to reach out to me at he.haoyu1@northeastern.edu.
